    What it’s like

Route 66 from the street: the ROUTE66 EAST GATE entrance and the club’s front at night.
Inside Route 66: the DJ stage under a blue LED ceiling and a full floor.
Route 66’s Songkran party: lighting truss, the SUMMER PARTY stage and the crowd.

    • Standing tables A–F fill the floor in front of the stage; L and R are sofa tables along the left and right walls.
    • Bars are at the back and by the stage; there are four exits.

    Keeping a bottle (keep card)

The club’s keep-card rules, as reported by the site owner. Ask staff on the night, as rules can change.

    • If about 20% or more of your bottle is left, call a staff member and ask them to keep it. You get a keep card.
    • The club holds a kept bottle for about two months.
    • The keep card works as an entry ticket: each visit with it lets 2 people in free, up to 3 visits per card.
    • On weekdays you can open a table with your kept bottle. On weekends you must order a new bottle first; only then is the kept bottle brought out.

    BEFORE YOU GO

    Before you go

    1. Alcohol ban days

In our experience Route 66 usually stays open on alcohol ban days: on the night going into the 26 October 2026 ban day it stayed open until 4 a.m. as usual. Check its Instagram before you go.

    2. Photo ID

Licensed entertainment venues may not let in anyone under 20 and check official photo ID showing your age.

    The rules in Thai law
    • Bring photo ID: licensed entertainment venues may not let in anyone under 20 and check official photo ID showing your age.
    • In Bangkok, licensed entertainment venues such as nightclubs may stay open until 04:00 (Ministry of Interior regulation of December 2023).
    • The Buddhist holy-day alcohol ban lists licensed entertainment venues as an exception, so some clubs open on those days. Check the club’s own announcements.
    • In the site owner’s experience, on the night going into an alcohol ban day most clubs outside RCA close early (Upper House at 2 a.m.; reportedly Dope & Dirty at 2 a.m. and Salone di Vita at 1:30 a.m.), while RCA clubs such as Route 66 stay open until 4 a.m. Late-night places around Asok’s Korean Town, usually open until morning, were all closed after 4 a.m. (night of 25–26 October 2026). This is how venues behaved, not a legal rule.
