Most big Bangkok malls open every day from 10:00 to 22:00. Ask for the VAT refund form in each store on the day you buy, and keep your passport with you.

Tourist VAT refund at the malls
- Buy at least ฿2,000 (VAT included) in one store on one day, and ask that store for the P.P.10 form and the original tax invoice when you pay.
- Show your passport when you ask for the form.
- Take the goods out of Thailand within 60 days of buying them, counting the purchase day, and claim at the airport.
Alcohol in mall supermarkets

- What time do Bangkok malls open?
- Most malls on this page that publish their hours open every day at 10:00 and close at 22:00; EmSphere closes at 23:00 from Friday to Sunday, and Platinum Fashion Mall keeps 09:00–20:00. Supermarkets, restaurants and rooftop bars inside can keep longer hours; each mall page lists those its own site gives.
- Can I get a VAT refund at Bangkok malls?
- Yes, in stores that take part: buy at least ฿2,000 in one store on one day, ask for the P.P.10 form with your passport, and claim when you fly out within 60 days. Some malls have a VAT counter that helps with the forms.
- Do mall supermarkets sell alcohol all day?
- No. They follow the national sale hours and the ban days, like any shop. The alcohol rules page has the hours and the dates.
- Which malls are next to each other?
- EmQuartier, Emporium and EmSphere all sit at BTS Phrom Phong, joined by walkways, and Terminal 21 is one stop west at Asok. CentralWorld, Siam Paragon and MBK Center are a short ride apart on BTS Siam, Chit Lom and National Stadium. Central Park and One Bangkok are on either side of the Rama 4 junction at Silom and Lumphini.
