In August 2025 a YouTuber was charged ฿4,000 for an omelette listed at ฿1,500; officials fined the shop and told it to show both prices, regular ฿1,500 and special ฿4,000 (Khaosod English, The Nation, 20 August 2025). Ask which one you are ordering.

Other dishes: the reviews we found give different prices for drunken noodles and none recent for tom yum, so they are not in the table yet.

Booking and the queue

The MICHELIN Guide lists Jay Fai as taking reservations. A 2024 review says a booking request was turned down: you turn up and queue, and one person cannot hold places for friends (World Travel Family, review-based). We have not timed the queue ourselves.
