Banthat Thong Road

MKTSAM YAN

A road of food shops beside Chulalongkorn University, not a market ground. Blogs say most of the land belongs to the university and the old car-parts street became a food street through redevelopment (review-based).

    Jay Oh and the queue

Jay Oh (Jeh O Chula) was a Bib Gourmand in the 2025 MICHELIN Guide; it is not in the 2026 list. The guide once wrote that diners “can wait up to two hours on the pavement outside” (MICHELIN Guide, 2019). It is cash only and opens about 16:00 to midnight (review-based). Go early, or put your name down and walk the street while you wait.

Before 18:00 for shorter queues; 18:00–21:00 is the busiest (review-based). In April 2026 the street held a Songkran “Water Street” (Daily News).
