    Accounts differ: a September 2026 blog found a thin single row of stalls, nowhere near its pre-2020 size; a 2025 review called it revived (review-based).

    Watch out for touts

    From about 17:30, touts show a cheap menu and lead visitors to upstairs venues; reviews describe bills of thousands of baht for drinks not ordered, show charges and “compulsory” tips (review-based; no news or police report was found).

    Do not follow them. If you do go in, ask for the price of everything before you order. Tourist police: 1155.

    Can I go with family?

    The market itself is fine, but late at night the lanes around it are mostly adult venues.
