    • Booking: through the bar’s website (login needed), or Instagram, Facebook and LINE. The website’s banner says it now opens bookings only 3 days ahead (our reading of the Thai notice).
    • The menu has a VIP page for VIP tables. A note on it says VIP tables can order only what that page lists (our reading of the Thai note). Its prices differ between the two flipbooks and are not copied.

    • Prices are in baht from two menu flipbooks, neither dated, and neither prints a VAT or service-charge line, so we do not say whether prices include them.
    • The two flipbooks give different prices for some of the same items (a Singha jug, for example, and most whisky bottles). We could not tell which is current, so we copied only drinks with the same price in both and left out the items whose values differ.
    • Promotions as printed: beer sold in 5-bottle sets, whisky bottles marked “FREE 5 MIXERS” in one flipbook, a bucket deal “get 3 free 1” in one flipbook, and birthday offers with conditions. They are in the flipbooks and not copied.
    • Fines list at the foot of the shots page: vomiting THB 600, and THB 5,000 for vomiting on a sofa area (our reading of the Thai). The Thai readings on this page are ours.

    1. Alcohol ban days

      The Buddhist holy-day alcohol ban lists licensed entertainment venues as an exception, so some bars open on those nights. Whether Praao does is not stated and the site owner has not seen it: check its Instagram before you go.

    2. Photo ID

      Licensed entertainment venues may not let in anyone under 20 and check official photo ID showing your age.

    The rules in Thai law

    • In Bangkok, licensed entertainment venues such as nightclubs may stay open until 04:00 (Ministry of Interior regulation of December 2023).
    • The Buddhist holy-day alcohol ban lists licensed entertainment venues as an exception, so some clubs open on those days. Check the club’s own announcements.
    • In the site owner’s experience, on the night going into an alcohol ban day most clubs outside RCA close early (Upper House at 2 a.m.; reportedly Dope & Dirty at 2 a.m. and Salone di Vita at 1:30 a.m.), while RCA clubs such as Route 66 stay open until 4 a.m. Late-night places around Asok’s Korean Town, usually open until morning, were all closed after 4 a.m. (night of 25–26 October 2026). This is how venues behaved, not a legal rule.
